Querida in 2015

Hebrews 11:6 KJV

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

In my experience, I became closer to GOD by praying to Him daily. I also try to read a chapter or two from His Holy Bible and enjoy all the blessings that He provided for us daily (food, clothing, shelter, safety, our lives and much much more). Most of all I thank Our Lord Jesus Christ for dying on the cross to save us from eternal hell.

I tried to take the same photo taken by by a Coloradopast Photographer in 2009 but the sun was shining directly at the wall, that's why it looked faded. I took this photo on 3/21/15.

Querida Regulator Station

Querida Regulator Station

I do not know how long this electric regulator station had been here in Querida but it's been here since we moved here. It's located before the Bassick Mine's tailings pile.

I took this photo on 3/20/15 at about three P.M. Notice the little patches of snow on the foreground.

What's so amazing to me about Querida is that it went through so many changes. It was a pristine wilderness before 1877. It became a mining town around 1877. It became a ghost town after 1880. Then in 1940's it became a small community. And now wildness came back to Querida. This remind me of this bible verse "Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." Job 1:21 (KJV) Sam and I love Querida because of its wildness, beauty, serenity and its wildlife. Thank you GOD for Your blessings!
